I have been living at Laurel Square since 3/2006 and I am just now finding this site and reading the reviews on Laurel Square. Based on my experience I've had one issue with maintence, other than that I have contacted maintenance a few times and their response was great. The area where I live is pretty quiet and the neighbors that I have are friendly. There have been some upgrades made to the apartments such as new window and blinds, new balcony doors and blinds, new carpet and fresh paint job in the building. The complex is looking great and the greatest thing is that while I have been living there I have NEVER seen a roach or any other insects in my apartment. I just hope that I don't experience anything horrible like what has been mentioned in other reivews. Up until now I would recommend Laurel Square, although I can only speak for the area in the complex where I live I'm not sure how the other areas in the complex are.

I am thinking about renting an apartment here and have heard various stories in reference to this property. What part of the complex is quiet? It the front of the complex better to live in or is the back better? Are the police frequently called? I read from your review that your part of the complex is quiet, which part is that?
