i am not stupid and i am very aware that angry residents and employees of laurel square write comments to deter as well as sike people into moving or not moving into this community. I need to basically be told the truth. i hear both good and bad things about laurel square but they are now under new management. Are there street pharmacists, pit bulls roaming, low income residents' what's really good'

I lived in Laurel Square 2 years ago and when I was ther it was for 5 years. I never felt unsafe at laurel square, you will not have to worry about that. I do have to say that management is horrible. I'm not a confrontational person, but a few times I've had to go in there and fight for my rights as a tenant. I've had serious heat problems in the winter which lasted for months, and I basically had to prove to them that my heat wasn't working properly, and then they gave me a discount on my next months rent. They try to keep the outside very clean and I've never had any problems with neighbors. I finally left because low income residents started moving in and the feel of the complex went down, there a some people with pit bulls but for the most part they have them under control. You will be very safe, and I never had any rodents. If you are willing to stay on top of management you will be ok. This is a good starting out apartment complex, but hurry because I have a feeling that in 5 more years it might be a complex just for low income people.
