nice--just what i expected

I was shocked to read the previous post about a rapist. This place feels quite safe to me. There was a break-in while I was here, and I saw a few ants, but those are the worst problems I encountered--it was still one of the nicer complexes I've ever lived in. Management is fairly responsive, and the grounds are clean and well-kept, and the neighborhood is nice, and the lake is pleasant, and it's within walking distance to a whole host of Middle America chain stores and restaurants (Best Buy, The Olive Garden, Einstein Bros, Safeway, etc.)
Pretty good overall, I'd say. If you're a student at UMCP, it beats the hell out of some of the overpriced high-rise dumps I've visited in College Park.
