Marymont Apartments
< | >
My family lived in a Marymont Apartment for 1 year, and were very pleased with the location and the staff - until we left. We thought we had a very good, honest relationship with the property manager and her assistants. We had signed a lease elsewhere (leaving Marymont because we needed more space, and their largest apartment is 2 bedrooms), and had 2 leases overlapping. The property manager assured us that if we left early, they could clean and move others into our apartment sooner, so we would be reimbursed a portion of our rent (for the time that we did not live there in our last month). Well, after we left, instead we were sent a BILL, charging us a FINE for breaking our lease early - even though we had given written notice of our intentions to leave 60 DAYS prior to our lease ending. So instead of being reimbursed a portion of our rent, we are being charged EXTRA, and if we do not pay this fine, we will be reported as delinquent to the credit agencies. So although we were happy while we lived in Marymonth, we believe that the service we received at the close of our lease was unprofessional and unwarranted. I would not recommend this apartment complex to any friend of mine.

Same exact thing happened to us. We had a double payment that we didn't expect as well. Management acts very friendly until you leave and then they lie to Equity to cover their own mistakes
