Hello,

I have lived at Marymont since February 2006 and I love it. I have no complaints; parking is perfect and couldn't be better then if it were assigned. I am a student and some nights I come home late. I have no problems with noise. It's a nice quiet place to live. Tess is great. I think that every one has an issue or two with every place they live at some point. I don't think you can find an apartment community with a tenant who does not have a problem. I think that it's just the few that do have posted a response on here.
But I must say that I am completely outraged that the loud car music issue is directed at young ------- Americans. The side that I live on I have to let you know there are in particular two middle aged Caucasian men that blast their rock music every morning going to work and I'm sure they are not the only ones. So I say that to let prospective tenants know that if that's the only problem a person is saying they have then, I kindah think it might be a little bit of "something else". Check it out for your self if you have a bad experience then that speaks for it self, but if you have a good one then let that speak for you.
"But please don't let these stereotypes" discourage you because to be honest I can count on two hands how many young ------- Americans there are even living in the community.
Thanks

P.S. I will be renewing my lease in Feb. for another year only because I am building a house,(5 bed 4 bath) all to myself partially in thanks to Marymont's rental savings plan.

Happy for you that you can park in front of your apartment, because I cannot. Parking is a problem and there are a lot of ------ living in Marymont.

If you read the previous note a little closer, "young ------- Americans" was not even written. I believe the person was speaking simply about loud rap music. Perhaps your own stereotypes are what we should be concerned about. I am a white female and listen to rap music fairly loud in my car as does my white brother. The post could have been speaking about him, a young man who blares loud rap music. Regardless, noise is an issue at Marymont. I know our neighbors have parties a lot and talk out in the hall around our door. And parking seems to be a specific building issue. Towards the front, it's not a problem but around the lake it appears to be.

I am ------- American and I can tell you that there has been an insurgents of Black tenants. However, that isn't a problem. Ethnicity isn't the issue, the issue is common courtesy and several tenants(black/white and everyone in between) blast their music late at night. Parking is a problem. By the lake in the back fuggetaboutit! If you don't have a problem parking near your house, then its cool. The only way you get free reign on parking is to get home aroun3-4pm.
