SLEEP WITH A LOADED GUN CLOSE TO YOU

I can tolerate the frequent water leaks, ridiculously high rent or even the two weeks it took them to replace my cloths dryer when it quit, but the crime and their effort to cover it up rather than stop it is just too much. I recently came home to find my apartment broken into and most of my electronics and valuables stolen. After talking with the cops and a few neighbors I found out that it was a common occurrence at Marymont.
Even more disturbing than the fact the leasing office didn t notify us of the crime wave, or hire a security guard, or put up a few cameras in the parking lots, is the fact they didn t want me to post a few flyers to gather any info on the crime I was a victim of. If I wanted to sell a couch or find a missing dog, I could stick that everywhere. But if it was notifying residents of a crime that is not allowed. A few days later I found a few scattered copies on the ground in the breeze-way of my building playing down the crime and stating my door may have not been secured, when in fact it was and the leasing office as well as police knew someone broke into my door.
