Basically, it did not have the exact apartment I needed (largest 1-BR plan), so I had to take the next one up (smallest 2-BR/1-BA), as I had my own laundry equipment (having moved from Atlanta area and not having had time to sell them).

Metro-DC area has way too few communities which have hookups-only (lots which have W/D in unit, but none will take them out if resident wants to use own), and most of these are income-restricted (which left me with no choices).

I would rate it as "iffy":
(1) To call parking "inadequate" would be a euphemism--almost never parking available after 19:00 other than fire lanes
(2) Fitness Centre was tiny--so its absence would have been unnoticed

The presence of elevators was nice when moving (especially with heavy items such as W/D).
