I've lived here since 2006 and let me tell you, this place is the BIGGEST RIPOFF this side of the Mississippi!.
First of all, they've had more Management office personnel that Carter has Liver Pills! I mean, it's been EXTREMELY RIDICULOUS with their turnover!!
Secondly, whenever there's a need for maintenance assistance,you get "put on a list", a list that NEVER seems to get any smaller. Whenever you callback to see how the "list" is moving along, you're told, "Oh, I don't have ANY record of you calling about a problem. I don't see your name on the list".So, you're placed back on the "list" AGAIN..and HOPE that when you callback to find out the status,that you've ACTUALLY been placed on the "list".
Not to mention, when the "maintenance" does show up, (oh, about 5-7 days later) they send the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL people in the Free World!! They leave the WORST mess in your apartment!! In addition, management NEVER seems to have "enough" maintenance personnel. They're ALWAYS, ALWAYS, "short staffed".
Third, they now have opened up the doors for the "Section 8" Ghetto individuals!!!! Once parking was ample. You could get parking right in front of your building, now, Oh my goodness, you've gotta' walk practically a mile in DIM or NO lit areas from your car to you building. Not to mention, they were towing vehicles that don't belong in the lot,(vehicles w/out stickers)that's now a thing of the PAST. Everyone in the WORLD parks in this lot and NOTHING IS EVER DONE about it. Example, there's been an Enterprise Rental Truck in the lot for over a month now, (in the same spot). It could be stolen for all the management office knows or cares.
To sum it up, DON'T MOVE HERE. Between the "HOT GHETTO MESS" Section 8ers, NO parking, Non Professional employees, RUG RATS playing ball in the lot,around everybody's vehicles, (why don't people tell their children NOT to play around 'other people' property). I mean, what Real parent allows their child(ren) to play games in the parking area, where somebody could get hit by a vehicle or someone could DAMAGE someone's vehicle.
Don't wast your MONEY/TIME moving to this S.E. DC version of the suburbs!!!

You have got to be kidding when saying that!! Guess your living in the low class places....I'm black and proud of it and would like to be proud of where I live but I'm not...oh we are moving..

For the record just because you have a section 8 voucher doesn't mean you are a HOT GHETTO MESS. There are plenty of people who are just that without having Section 8. I know plenty of people who have vouchers and you would never know. Please don't be ignorant!
