Alright... so I LOVED the space of the apt for the price and it seemed like the neighborhood was pretty quiet... WRONG!!! First of all, I used to read the reviews for this apartment and figured.. maybe some of these folks are wrong.. and Im going to give it a shot.. Why oh why did I do it'' Last nite is a PERFECT example of why Im writing this review.. Last night, there were at least 15-20 kids outside at around 10:30pm or 10:45pm banging on cars and walls, playing go-go.. Then there was another 10 at someone's car and they had the music ALL the way up!!! When I called the Non Emergency line for 911 they told me if their out there at 11pm.. to call them back. I guess the kids must be aware of that because at 10:58pm.. they were gone. Ok, so thats number one... lol Number two... the walls are THIN!!! Unless you live on the TOP floor, be prepared to hear the people above you! I mean you can hear them talking, coughing, having "relations", breathing... The first night I was there.. You can hear the usual creeking from them walking.. but the people above me have NO consideration for ANYONE!! I mean they walk around like they have cement on their feet at 12 or 1am. Now my problem with that is.. I have a 10 month old.. And for ANYONE that has a child that small.. you know that when you FINALLY get that baby to sleep... thats how you want to keep them. THE BUGS!!! Every morning before me and the kids leave.. I have to craxk my door and see which mosquitos I can cath with the Raid, b4 they come in my apartment.. I JUST moved here and I already HATE IT W/ A PASSION!!! Moving here has given me the drive to wanna move out and get a house or move somewhere less ghetto. I've lived in Sprighill Lake, which was the ghetto b4 they somewhat cleaned it up... But Montpelier Crossing beats them HANDS DOWN!!! And for the record, if I see anyone new going in to the Rental Office, I will gladly tell them to not do it!! I wish someone would have did that for me. Good luck
