I have lived at Riverview Apartments for 3 months and have enjoyed it so far. The rent is pretty cheap for the Baltimore/ DC area. It is $860 per month for a 1-bedroom apartment plus you only pay electric. Do not need to worry about a high gas bill in the winter. The heat is centrally controlled, but I believe that it is kept at the perfect level. Not too hot and not too cold. I am usually walking around in shorts and a t-shirt in the winter time in my apartment.

The area is pretty safe. The front door to my apartment is kept propped open sometimes. I'm guessing some other tenant is doing this, but the doors to your apartment lock so there shouldn't be a problem with people breaking in. There is always plenty of parking, especially if your building is closer to the Patuxent River.

There are 2 washers and dryers on the first floor that cost $1.50 a piece to use. They work fine. There is no dishwasher in my apartment, but I believe the upgraded apartments do have one and washers/dryers in the apartments too, as well as a deck. The rent is obviously higher for these upgraded units and I believe you pay heat.

There is a trail behind the apartment complex to run on. Also, there are many small busineses and restaurants within walking or driving distance.

Overall, I have enjoyed it so far. It is cheap, safe, and quiet. Also, the neighbors are nice from what I have seen. I really haven't met them or talked to them that much, but that doesn't bother me. Sorry for writing so much but I had some down time at work haha.
