I was excited to move here after reading such great reviews, but unfortunately my experience has not been as great as everyone else's. We've had a phorid fly infestation since we moved in. These particular flies breed and live in drain pipes and are hard to get rid of, so we've found ourselves killing an average of 10 a day in our apartment. Pest control has come a few times, but these things are here to stay. They crawl on food while you're eating, they hang out around the sink and the bathrooms even though we try to keep things extra clean, it's pretty gross... Another problem we had is that despite management insisting that the carpets were shampooed, we found cat fur, cat nails, and part of our carpet smelled strongly of cat urine. Our son is severely allergic to cats, so when we first moved in he got sick. Also, there were some maintenance problems that never got resolved although we complained about them... too many to name so I wont waste space here. One observation: I live in R II which is newer, nevertheless, the cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom are ancient and falling apart, they should be upgraded for the amount of money you pay. I recommend that if you do move here, get an apartment that doesn't face the woods... less bugs.
