Let me repeat, DO NOT MOVE TO STRWARD MANOR.
Of course, if you do drugs and make a lot of noise you will fit right in.
I moved here in December and regretting it every day. The only reason I moved here was that I was new to the area. This place will treat you as if you are a second-class citizen in the projects. I will give you 10 reasons. If I knew these things, I would have moved here.

1. The tenants sell drugs in the hallways.

2. You can here everything going on in the hall.

3. You will hear doors slamming all night.

4. Its right off 198, so you hear every car accident and its common to see strange people walking around the parking lot at night.

5. Cars are broken into all the time. Several of the people living in the building have had cars broken into since moving here.

6. The walls are paper-thin; you can hear ever single noise above you or under you.

7. You cannot have anyone over because they will tow their car unless you give management 24 hour notice when they are coming. Dont get me started on that one.

8. Management will tell you anything to make commission, I asked when moving in, how safe was the area I never received a answer.

9. The apartment building is very old, the windows are not insulated, and the furnace sounds like a generator all night. The electrical system cannot support anything over a lamp without the blowing the circuit breaker, btw, is the old screw in type. i.e. I used my mixer and all the lights blew out.

10. The kitchens have zero counter space, I can't have a microwave because its no where to put besides in the sink.

Do not let the rental price trick you. Since moving in, I have found at least 5 Laurel apartments cheaper, larger inside and much nicer areas.
The other reviewers are right; some of the reviews are fake. The management company monitors this site. I used this site when deciding to move into SM.

Im moving out in May, bdntake the same mistake I did.
