I am a current resident, and did my homework before I moved in. The bathroom tiles, and no dishwasher were no suprise to me. The office staff answered all my questions about whatever I wanted to know, and so far everything has been truthful to their word. I am confused why someone would think the gate that is a great asset to the community would see it as "YUCKY". I don't think it's that old! As far as paper thin walls, the buildings are older, therefore built stronger and more sound proof then the newer places that are going up these days. It's apartment living, your bound to hear something. If you want complete silence buy a single family home! (Do your own repairs too!)(Pay your own utilities also!) For the price I pay for rent I really can deal with making a few sacrifices to not have the "Perfect Apartment" that most of these writers must be going to live in!!!!!
