I read these reviews before moving here to Steward Manor. I was told and WARNED not to rent from Southern Management twice but felt that the reviews here were okay. At first I met friendly neighbors as well as staff members. The staff is very nice and freindly especially Eddie. The area is very quiet and I never hear my neighbors at all. I have no complaints except that my car was broken into not ONCE, not TWICE, but THREE times!!! Its clear to say its not random and that the culprit lives in this neighborhood. I got my radio installed back in on a Thursday and by the following Wednesday my car was broken into again. I went and had the window fixed and was told by the guy who owns the shop that the police know who is doing the break ins but can't catch the guys. He then took it a step further by telling me what the guys drive and that one even works at Best Buy. The guys live on my street and thats what pisses me off most to know a stranger (business owner) knew the thieves by the other break ins they have been doing in the Laurel area. By the way, I've only been here since September and its only February...do the math, 5 months and my car was broken into 3 times. There is nothing the staff can do and was told by my military housing staff that Steward Manor has security. LMAO because I never seen them at all. Somebody is collecting a check and they are sleeping in the bushes somewhere. Other than that I would love to stay here but can't risk beating some sticky finger young punks up over a car.

Thats messed up! I live here too and your right I was also told that there was security I guess that was more bullsh*t.
