Yo!

Before the Elections, there was the Seasons....

Too many times I have contacted the office for maintenance issues. It actually takes the maintenance at least 4 months or more to respond. As you know, there are a lot of units out here and not enough maintenance men to service all our needs. I have discussed in detail issues with property managers and they (at the time) understood. They would look you in the eye and tell you they would submit your request. Well...the request somehow never makes it to the maintenance team (or does it). Two years ago, my neighbor's ceiling collasped and trapped her and her children in their apartment. The fire department had to come to their rescue. If I did not see it with my own eyes I would not believe it. Maintenance was called for the emergency. The fire department came on time but maintenance showed up without the keys to let the fire department in. The firemen had to wait until maintenance went to the office to get the master key. Thank GOD the family were not seriously harmed. Later that morning, maintenance confessed that they did not know how to repair the damage this poor family suffered. I escorted the neighbor to the rental office (after 9 AM) so that she can report what happened in her apartmentand Ken Sleeth told her "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO"' I immediately left and called the news and everyone I could.

Bottomline, the Seasons staff is doing their job...they are nice in the beginning of course, they have to be...THEY NEED RENTERS. Once you are in, do yourself a favor and enroll in a carpentry course because you will have to fix your own problems in your apartment. The next thing you will have to do is figure out how to deduct the costs of repairs from your rent.

Lastly, I pose the question to the staff of the Seasons. How come no one ever does the following:

Perform apartment inspections'

Perform fire alarm inspections'

Change the air filters in each apartment'

Deliver fliers on the Southside of the complex. Appears only the apartments in view of the rental office are taken care of, why does this happen' You also do not take care of the pool on the southside as well. Some call this side the "Crack House". You know, I can't disagree with that statement. We are neglected on so many levels.

Keep track of rounds made by the exterminator'

Where are the police'

How come you subcontract companies to"

Paint over dirt'

For all the monies being paid and made here, you should include a COMMUNITY CENTER'

You say you take pride in being a family-oriented community so provide us a community center. You used to and without a meeting, etc. It was taken away. You also advertise that every apartment is renovated but, for those who lived here for a while, we are not entitled to renovations. What gives, you go up on our rent so that you can renovate for new renters somehow, this just goes against the grain of descent and affordable housing for all.
