Good deal for the price and the area

I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia, so you can imagine how much of a sticker shock I experienced when apartment hunting in this area. For the price of my current apartment, I could have a really nice luxury apartment on Peachtree Street back home! However, I must say that from the start, The Seasons has been a great place to live. My apartment is quiet (except for my heavy-footed upstairs neighbor and her annoying dog), cozy and always warm or cool, depending on the season. I have a fairly large one-bedroom with a washer and dryer, garbage disposal and dishwasher, which are in great working condition. My rent includes all utilities, minus water, and my maintenance requests have always been answered within a few hours. In addition, the complex is very close or fairly close to several major roads (32, 216, US 1, 100, 95, 295 and 495), which is good for me, because I drive to the nearest Metro station (Greenbelt) to go to work in DC.
Drawbacks are few. In the spring there is a flying ant (or termite) problem; they tend to crawl out of the vents, but I reported this to the front office, and an exterminator came out the next day, which resolved the problem. If it's really humid, the doors swell, so it's difficult to shut/open bedroom doors. And parking is annoying; I have to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to park near the walkway to my apartment.
Other than those things I mentioned, The Seasons is a good deal. I looked at MANY complexes in Maryland, Virginia and DC that wanted $500-600 more for less square footage, and the price didn't even include utilities!
