Okay; there are some good perks about living here and there are some bad. My experience here has been, an overall, a terrible experience - I cannot wait to get out of here.

The good thing about living here is the pricing...I pay $955 a month for free utilites, excluding a water tax of an average of $15 a month, dishwasher, ice maker, and full washer & dryer.

I moved into one of the renovated apartments...but everything seemed to go wrong. Living on the bottom floor, I had to deal with insects (not roaches) that seem to find their way into my apartment.

For awhile, there was a problem with my tub; it wasn't draining properly. I complained one day and went to work. When I came back from work, there was an industrial-sized bottle of DRANO in my bathroom...as funny as that was now, I wasn't laughing that day. They did fix it the next day.

At one point, there seemed to be something wrong with the piping because there was a large puddle in front of my door where the patio is. One day, I figured out that it occurred every time I turn on my faucet in the kitchen or used my diswasher, so I called the management. They gave me the opportunity to go into a hotel overnight (to compensate, they would deduct the cost of the hotel out of my next month's rent, as well as two days of living in my apartment), so they can fix the problem. But when I came back, everything seems to go wrong afterwards. First of all, they fixed the problem, they created new problems.

In order to fix the plumbing, they took out my sink...when I tried to use my sink, it was leaking.

The tile on my floor has been replaced inadequately.

The ceiling where my sink was began to leak. It took awhile for me to figure this out because the water was traveling through my wall and the wall began to deteriorate.

I like clean, white walls, but they accidentally place cement on my wall...so they aren't white anymore.

Later during my time there, I was having a problem with my neighbor who lived upstairs. He seemed to complain about the noise level in my apartment, but when the police investigated, I wasn't loud. When the management investigated, they commented to me that I wasn't loud, but you can hear a noise from upstairs. So, what's separating the apartments'

Oh, let me put the icing on the cake to tell you that my car radio was removed from my car. The stupidity of this act was that only the face-plate was stolen - TO THE PEOPLE WHO STOLE MY FACEPLATE: How are you to use my radio without the body' (after having my car for a year, I never knew that it was detachable)

The ironic thing about this situation is that this is the best apartment complex that I ever lived in...moving from place to place in Prince George's County for most of my life. The complaints that I had are nothing compared to living in some other areas...
