I lived there for 7 and 1/2 years.
The place looks better than it used to but the management got worse and worse.
I saw cars stolen, there was a serial rapist, twice bodies were found in cars.
To top it off, I came home from work one day and the place was surrounded by the SWAT team.
My neighbor took his family hostage and eventually killed himself.
The staff was rude unorganized and unprofessional.
They once came around and announced loudly so everyone could hear that they were having amnesty night for everyone with late rent.
My rent was never late.
When I showed them the error of their ways they never even apologized for the embarrassment.
This was no place and no way to live.
No matter what you do, if you have ANY other options DO NOT move there.

WOW. I've yet to hear of any issues like that here and I've been living here for a while. Maybe its cleaned up a lot since you moved. I've heard that they did a lot of renovations that finished just before I moved in. Anyway, I would think that incidents like that could occur anywhere. I dont think its realistic to expect management to be able to screen for someone who would be a rapist, who would murder, or who would commit suicide. Those are things that occur in any neighborhood regardless of payscale. Luckily I havent seen anything like that. Maybe the group I live around just are a different crew (mostly teachers and people that work at Ft Meade) |

I lived here for two years (2004-20060 and then I got out. This place was terrifying, at best. I moved here when I didn't have much money (I was still in college). It wasn't a bad layout for an apartment, but the place wasn't well kept and the neighborhood was going downhill. It's not a good sign when drug dealers are allowed to just loiter through the parking lot. I came home in the middle of the afternoon to find some random thug drinking a 40 on my 2nd floor porch. I agree with this guy -- horrible place. No offense, greentreeblogger, but are you an employee? I lived on the side by the leasing office, which, admittedly, was safer than the other side, but it was still sketchy. |

I lived on both sides. the side by the leasing office for 5 years then the other side. the side by the leasing office felt safer, but most of the incidents were evenly distributed. I left out a gazillion things that happened while I lived there. greentree must be an employee. this place was awful, I never felt safe inviting female company to visit after dark......that is not cool.
