CRAZY STOMPING NEIGHBOR

I live on the bottom floor of a two story building here, and I am at my wits end with my upstairs neighbor. There isn't anything I can do about it, I've tried.
Basically this idiot paces (stomp paces) back and forth for hours on end. My theories were: exercising, OCD, meth-making. I would probably make a lot of noise walking from point A to B, too, but I don't start at 6 PM and stomp consistently until 7:30, start again at 3 in the morning, and stomp around 7:30 until 8:30 or so when I leave for work. I CANNOT nap, this person is driving me insane and the apartment managers can do nothing (have you asked this person to stop' no, I'm afraid this person is insane). When I do finally get up the nerve to passively shake a broom at the ceiling, whoever it is makes a point to jump up and down.
So, I'm moving. I can't take it anymore. I shouldn't have to live like this. I get home from work (I work six-seven days/week) and want to read or relax and all I hear is the stomper. I counted this person once: 67 times back and forth in five minutes. I shouldn't have to hear every single move this insane idiot makes when we have carpet here! aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

Unfortunately, that's one of the pitfalls of living on the bottom floor. I learned my lesson many years ago because lets face it, you can't pick your neighbors. Why don't you request to be moved to an upstairs apt? My experience has been that the mgmt will work with you if you ask.

I ABSOLUTELY feel your pain, I had the EXACT same problem when living in a bottom level apartment at the Seasons. However, my "Stomper" was a two year old future track star! She and her stay-at-home mother drove me crazy....I ended up moving as well.

OMG...I am experiencing the SAME problem. The young lady above me stomps so hard, that she wakes me up out a sleep. I am so sick and tired of her I can scream. I asked her to be mindful of the fact that someone lives below. It didnt help. Now, I'm going to call Howard County and file a disturbance against her. The Seasons have dont absolutely nothing.

I AM GOING THROUGH THE SAME OLD THING. 2 PEOPLE LIVED UNDER ME AND THEY NEVER COMPLAINED. I HAVE NEIGHBORS OVER ME AND THEY STOMP SO HARD IT WAKES ME UP EVERY MORNING. WE HAVE THE FAN ON, THE AIR CONDITION, THE TV AND SOMETIMES IM ON THE COMPUTER AND I CAN STILL HEAR THEM. I COMPLAINED TO THE LEASING CONSULTANT AND SHE CAME OVER AND HEARD HER STOMPING,,SHE EVEN SAID IT WAS LOUD. A WEEK WENT BY AND I CALLED THE OFFICE TO CONFIRM THE LETTER SHE SAID SHE WAS GOING TO PLACE ON HER DOOR,,,,AND GUESS WHAT,,SHE HAD NOT DONE IT. SHE DID IT THE SAME DAY I INQUIRED ABOUT IT. THAT BURNS ME UP!!!! I FEEL LIKE TAKING THE BROOM TO THE CEILING AS WELL, ONLY THING IM AFRAID I MIGHT BRING DOWN THE APARTMENT CEILING.
