I don't think apartmentratings.com can give me enough room to let me know how bad this place is! When we first moved in it was the first week of August and we did not have any working air conditioning at all! The maintenance staff works hard to try to fix things with the few resources they are given by the management company. So after eleven yes I said 11 days in the worst heat and humidity they finally got it fixed. Of course Berkshire management did not credit us anything, nor did they acknowledge the letter of appreciation I sent on behalf of the maintenance staff (quality customer service Berkshire!)

Things were o.k. for a few weeks before we had a flood because the A.C. line froze up and the line backed-up, the carpet was soaked up by the carpet. When the "carpet cleaners" came, ripped the carpet up put a fan on it, 2 hours later he returned to pick-up the fan and then was never to be seen again. Besides the obvious looking bad, the carpet and the floor filled with mold and mildew.

When winter came we had a furnace that would work once in a blue moon. Yet again the maintenance staff did what they could to help us A.K.A. bring us some electric space heaters. It was at about this point when the next door neighbors finally were evicted and left their apartment filled with garbage and the building had a mouse infestation.

When I invited the property manager or some oft he Berkshire staff to witness how gross and disgusting it was they declined, but still did not believe the 30 mice that I caught in a month. When they said they would send an exterminator I expected more than a couple glue traps thrown on the floor and a return visit weeks later. Needless to say my wife and I never were able to eat at home and were grossed out at the thought of having to go home to that every day.

We had two ceiling leaks in our kitchen that resulting in the drywall falling to the floor and our living room carpet getting soaked both times. On a Friday night at about 11:30 the Howard County Police S.W.A.T. team made a visit to talk to the neighbors who had been selling drugs 24/7 since we had moved in. When I called the management office to let them know that the door on the apartment had a very large dent in it and was wide open they were in disbelief and said "no that couldn t have happened we would have known about it." Wow, shocking selling drugs, getting your door knocked down by the police, and having trash all over is not enough to get you kicked out.

We moved out in June and in August we still yet to get our security deposit back. If you have the government paying your rent because you can't this is the place for you. I can't believe that this place has not been shut down! A picture is worth a 1,000 words but my advice letting you know not to live here is worth so many head aches.

Wow. I was just getting home from work that night when SWAT team was here. The truck was behind me as I was parking and I kept saying to myself..UPS doesnt deliver THIS late. It was a scary moment watching a truck roll up in the parking lot in the middle of the night and see a zillion men jump out with thier guns cocked. I ran in the house because I didnt know what to expect. The Seasons is a joke. When my lease is up, I will NOT renew. I am actually planning to leave sooner. Trust - I will give you my opinion of this property - PLAY BY PLAY.

Wow, I did not have it that bad when I was living there. My main issue was the poor craftsmanship of the so called new renovations, the ants and all the undisclosed fees they had. Though I had to move back home I am glad I am no longer there fighting with the horrible rental office staff and struggling to keep my head above water paying a mortgage on a rather small apartment.

I lived at the Season's Apt about 8 years ago and it had it's problems but LORD it's off the hook now. I do think one of the maintenance men stole $350.00 out of my apt but I just didn't have any proof of it. One day I look out my window to find that it was infested with flies all over my screen waiting for me to open my window so they could get in it must had been some type of nest above my window. My A.C stayed broke and true the maintenance would try their best to fix it they were in and out of my apt that when I think they stole my money. I had a neighbor who had a dog that she spoiled like her child so every time she would live the dog would cry and bark the whole time she was gone. Since there were no entry door I had a flying bug problem any bugs that were drown to light stayed by my front door that about the only real problems I had. Listening to everyone comment 8 years later it's off the hook, I would never go back to Season's.

My goodness! I am so glad that I moved. I actually believe everything that has been written! I would have taken pictures, went to housing court and MOVED! The place is crazy. SWAT. Somebody wrote on my white car I got sick of the non-repairs, the lies the ants, etc. With the SWAT team coming in, you now have a reason to move ( not feeling or being safe).

I am living there right now and I feel sorry for you. For what they charge nobody should be treated like this. To make things worse the owners of these apartments will always have the advantge legally over the rentors. If you kept documentation and pictures that prooved this you could sue them. A lawyer will take your case for free because berkshire is such a big business. But anyways I haven't had the problems you have had but from time to time I see how unprofessional the managment staff are.

I lived there from 2006 - 2008. I didn't have all the probs that you had, but I did have my car broken into. As far as repairs in the townhome, my husband was very assertive with the maintenance crew, so they came when we called in...but we only had one or two probs. When we moved out...I found the prob with my coughing...there was mold growing in our bedroom and it was making both of us sick. Maintenance said it was because of us burning candles...I don't believe that! I was so happy when we moved...I never want to see that place again...mgmt was rude and very untimely with getting things back to us. I'm glad you moved.
