There is good and bad but my boyfriend and I really like living here.

Pros-
1) We feel pretty safe.

2) We have good neighbors except for the neighbors who through parties at 3am.

3) They allow two dogs with no weight limit.

4) Everyone seems to be friendly.

5) We have had no bug problems.

Cons -
1) The apartments were built in the 70's and have been renovated but you can tell when you live here for a while that small problems may have not been fixed, just covered up.

2) Our kitchen has a strange odor, we can't figure it out and it is kind of gross.

3) Lighting in the neighborhood is very bad. Lights burn out of the outside of the apartments and are not replaced unless you call maintenance and complain.

4) A lot of the grass outside of the apartments is not grass at all, but hay. When it rains it gets very muddy.

5) Our electric bill is very high each month and we don't use much electricity. We don't know why but we think it is something to do with the wiring.

This was our first apartment and we are moving out only because we found somewhere free to live. We would stay here otherwise. I think we got lucky with the location of our apartment. It's kind of secluded.

Seems like you're contradicting yourself. Read your comments over again; you can find something much better. Comments ( in reverse order) You can contact the electric company and find out what your past bills were. Just about everything in the place is electric. Good luck if you think that the complex will check out the "wiring: theory. How safe can you feel with inadequate outdoor lighting? The place actually had grass until they converted to electric. The complex is just about all hay--they have no places to replace the grass ... The strange odor in your kitchen can be mold or worst. Nothing in the complex has been fixed-just patched.

On the average, how much is your electric bill? I'd love to know since I'll be moving here in July. The leasing agent informed my husband and I that it shouldn't be anything more than $50 per month.

$150-$200 a month. The leasing company told us $30 a month but it's unrealistic. They aren't informing you correctly! :( You can email me at krozedesign@gmail.com if you have any other questions!
