I moved in about 5 months ago and have been regretting it ever since.
In Feb.
I get a letter in the mail from the court of maryland saying that I didn't pay my rent, charging me over 2,000.
I know that I turned it in, one of the girls that work in the office was there when I put it in the drop box, she showed me where it was and watched me put it in.
When I went to the management office to dispute it, the accounting person was very rude to me, like she didn't believe me.
So, I told her to get Maria to verify, which she did.
I was then told to put a stop payment on my check and to write them another one and they wouldn't charge me with late rent.
Because they lost my check, I have to pay a stop payment fee! And I didn't even get an apology.
The next month, I made sure that I turned in the check personally and got a receipt.
Somehow, a few weeks later I receive another letter from the court of md saying that I didn't pay my rent.
This time when I showed up to dispute it, I had a reciept.
They immediately stated that they don't know what went wrong, but no apology or how can I make it up to you.
I was pissed then.
The owner said that this incident wouldn't happen again, or I could move out.
I told her that I wanted what she said in writing.
She agreed, but that was 1 1/2 ago and I still have nothing.
I have asked her several times, but it's always excuses and getting the lawyers involved.
On top of that my neighbors and nice people, but they can be loud at nignt somtimes.
I'm usually in bed before 9 pm because I have to get up so early, so they disrupt my sleep.
Someone also complained about the dog poop, which is true, you smell the poop in the air and it's pretty nasty.
Also, over the last few weeks I've had bugs (swarmers, i guess).
The girls that show the apartments to people are the sweetest ever, but management is something else.
The need to learn some manners and professionalism.
As soon as my lease is up, I am out of here!!!

They are notorious for loosing things. After 2 years I gave notice that I was moving end of September 2003, at this time I was month to month. I left the apartment on the 15th and turned in the keys, I didn't even ask them to prorate anything. Almost a year later I get a letter that I owed them $2,000 (guess they like that number) I went there several times and they kept telling me I never gave them notice and that is a lie. I contacted the management company several times and not once did I receive a return call, they are beyond rude. To this day it shows up on my credit report, but I can assure you they're not getting a dime. WARNING: Any dealings with The Seasons office and management company staff should be in writing and it would be best to type up a letter and make them sign it that they received whatever communications you have with them.
