The apartment you actually live in looks nothing like the model. Paint job is awful, it looks like a 12 year old did it. Mold grows on the bathroom ceiling, the lock on the screen door is broken. (I LIVE ON THE FIRST FLOOR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!) Roaches and ants ALL THE TIME. I think they are just sprayign water when they do the insecticide spraying.

It takes months for them to fix anything, and the walls are paper thin. Neighbors upstairs sound like a herd of elephants. The toilet literally exploded and ruined the carpet. They took 2 months to fix the carpet (by cutting it out and replacing it w/ a different piece... piss poor job, they didn't even glue it to the ground or nail it to the ground.) Just recently, there was a leak from the shower into my bedroom which ruined the carpet from all the mold that was growing. They did not replace the carpet, and it is severely stained and disgusting looking. The neighbor upstairs also had some kind of water leak in his bathroom, which leaked into our bathroom and created a hole in the ceiling. They fixed the hole by stapling cardboard to it!

Windows EXTREMELY drafty.

Gas and electric bills are ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS. Two bedroom apartment gas/electric is $400 at least a month. Me and my roommates had no idea what we were getting into.

Lots of "shifty" looking people hanging around outside, wouldn't be surprised if they were dealing drugs. I don't appreciate people staring at me as I get into my car. They should assign parking spots so that you don't have to walk so far into the parking lot at night or early morning when it is not well lit.
