Absolutely HORRIBLE! Stay away

The time spent in this apartment was a total headache and nightmare! Willow Lake APARTMENTS (because Town & Country Willow Lake is only trying give it a name that's going to make it sound great) never ceased to amaze me when something horrible happened.
Everything went fine and dandy until the second month rolled around and I spotted my first ROACH! Mind you, I have never lived in/around any community that had filty creatures as such. Every evening after I cleaned my kitchen and turned the lights out in the kitchen, I would come back into the kitchen to get something and they would be on the counter tops, in the sink, and in the cabinets. It was absolutely disgusting! Further into living there I discovered a COMBAT (the roach brand) sticker that had the year 1989. This apartment had been fighting roaches for over 10 years!!! NASTY!
The car theft/robbery in that community was overlooked completely. My roommate had his car stolen as well as friend who was just visiting! My car had its driver side window busted out and was completely ransacked. The staffing did not put out signs to warn other residents about the increasing car issues, but just made it seem like, "This is normal. It happens."
Then the unthinkable... Living in a first floor apartment already left us succeptable to break-ins, but I was not sure of the chances of it actually happening. In January, my roommate actually walked in on the person entering my apartment and trying to pick my BEDROOM door lock as I was asleep WITH THE TELEVISION on! So it was quite evident that someone was in there. Again, no warning to other residents about the break-in or ways to prevent your apartment from being broken into.
The upkeep of the apartment was terrible as well. There was paint painted over paint which was ugly to look at, the floor borders in the apartment were either hanging off or about to fall off, the bedroom doors were not cut to fit the door frame. They were either to small or prevented to doors from locking. One of the bedrooms in the apartment had about a 1 inch between the carpet and the floor board. It was just terrible. All problems were reported and "fixed". They were mainly cover-ups.
I would not recommend ANYONE to live in this "community".

I am the property manager of Willow Lake Apartments and It is very unfortunate that you feel this way. Willow Lake is a wonderful Community and I take pride in that. I do not remember hearing of any of the above issues from any resident. If I had all issues would have been dealt with in a timely and professional manner. Willow lake is more than just a Apartment complex we are a community and my job here is to satisfy my residents.

I do not believe any of the comments this resident made and believe they are just upset with themselves. Been here since Nov. 2007 and have had NO issues. They just must be dirty!
