I'm from the bronx and I have to say Laurel is worse off. I've had my motorcycle stolen twice since i've been here. Two nights ago they stole a 300 and a charger. The neighberhood is becoming worse and worse. I haven't had the roach problem people speak of yet. Last night I go to check my mailbox.. and boom its ripped off the hinges. Someone stole my mail! Never heard of anything so low in my life.

Before my bike had been sotlen a 2nd time a young lady told me a group of guys were standing around my motorcycle plotting to steal my bike.. in broad daylight. Just having a conversation like its the norm'

Wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. They used to be good now they are just going downhill.

Oh they have these rules to no loitering no children playing in the streets and no smoking illegal substances in the hallway.. but they don't keep up on it..

3 years 2005-2008. how did you last that long? you are patient . i only made it for 6 months 4/2006-6/2006

Thankyou for repling so prompt...... do u know anything about bldg. 13009.... and you said up top that u havent had A problem with roaches..... is that RIGHT!Iam TERRIFIED OF ANYTING THAT HAS 4 LEGS......

Well they have called for a code 18 in the neighberhood. I haven't gotten my stuff back. They also have a state trooper there, a dc officer, and pg officer living there. They Complex manager walks around at night to make sure its quiet. They are also attempting to start up a neighberhood watch. Last night during the meeting we were informed that the crips are getting big in the area.. along with ms 13. I am tolerating it because I figure I could move out into something worse and am currently saving for my house. Management is doing all they can, but they can't stop the area from becoming a slum... I'm patient but I think another year of this and ill lose my mind.. Will keep updates
