What happened in the last 6 months......

First, the good stuff. I really like the size of my apartment and for the money, you can't beat it. Maintinace responds very quickly and they try their best to keep the neighborhood clean. Now the bad stuff. I'm not sure if management lowered their standards for selecting future residents but in the past 6 months, the following has happened. There were 4-5 bullet holes in the front glass door to my building. Someone shot a be be or threw a rock at my back sliding glass door and put a hole in it which, in order for maintinance to fix it, I had to get a police report. My husband was carjacked. I had bought a new car and a week after I got it, someone TRIED to steal it by busting the door lock and ripping out the ignition. While my car was being repaired for the damages, someone stole my service loaner vehicle that I had from the dealership where my car was still being serviced. My next door neighbors are loud and ghetto. Their children leave trash in the hallways. The apartment hallways often reak of weed smoke. The children around here do not seem to have any home training and lack respect for peoples vehicles. I have witnessed some of these kids sitting on my neighbors cars. Complaints to management have gotten nowhere. I have witness residents take their trash TO the dumpsters but never put it IN the dumpsters even if the dumpster is empty. Because of these recent events, I am ready to move. I would not recommend this place to anyone in its current state. Not everyone living here is low class or ghetto but the ones that are need to be EVICTED. If at all possible, DO NOT MOVE TO LAUREL!!!
