DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!!!!! The apartments, themselves, are actually cozy. The dining room area has a nice brick wall and the kitchen is large, in comparison to other apartments you will look at in the area. However, the other inhabitents are dirty, LOUD, rude, and there have been a NUMBER of gun-related murders, random shooting, drug problems, domestic disturbances, and ARSON attempts, not to mention the numerous rapes and robberies. These apartment complex is targeted by criminals and many apartments have been broken into and the female occupants sexually assaulted.
Furthermore, maintenance is slow, and often shoddy. NEVER expect anyone from the office to call you back for ANY purpose. The exterminator is completely shifty, I requested services three times and after seeing nothing, I stayed home from work the fourth time! Only THEN did he put down any solvents. The water was brown quite a lot, especially when you turn on the hot water. When I called to inquire why the water was brown I was told some dirt had gotten into the pipes, but that they would not provide anyone with potable water. IT IS BROWN!!!!!
Whatever your situation do not move in to Village Square North!!

I have lived at village Sqaure North for two years now and I have not seen one of your Complaints. The maintance people are quite speedy and actually very plesant and as a matter a fact just today I spoke to the people in the office and they were very helpful. While I do agree that they might not always be very plesant or helpful for the most part they are. Now as far as the "inhabitents" there are some kids that hang around but they arent doing anything but being kids they dont mess with anyone. I have never once seen nor heard of any of the claimed reports above. Like i said I have lived at village square north for two years one of which was 2005 the last year this person lived there I would think if it was soooo terrible that I would have noticed or my husband or my child. Maybe I just got lucky with the 7 buildings that surround me. I am not saying its perfect there but all aparements have there probs like spray paint or to much trash around the dumpster but otherwise i love my apartment, my neighbors and the rent!
