I've lived here just 6 months, and I'm very pleased with the rental staff, Jim the maintenance guy and the apartment itself. I have a VERY clean bldg. The noise is very minimal to none, and my heat and air work great! The apt. is a little small, but iit's doable. Goto IKEA for space saving ideas and make it your own! The folks who rated this a NO must don't know what it is to live in the ghetto. Live in DC and then compare VOL to that. There has been no vandalisms reported since I've been there, but there is alot of high traffic in the neighborhood and a melting pot of nationalities, so if you can't live amongst them, then VOL is not for you. Yes, parking can be challenging if you get home late in the evenings. If you are trying to save money for a house, this is the place to do it! Welcome to our n'hood!
