I have lived here for almost a year with my wife, since our wedding. We are very pleased.
* UNIT: The kitchen and bathroom are especially good. The appliances aren't the highest-quality, but they work just fine.
* STAFF: Excellent. I see them all the time to pick up my packages, and they are friendly and helpful. Our leasing manager was also friendly when we needed help.
* MAINTENANCE: They have come anywhere from 2-24 hours after I initially requested service. They have been friendly and did good work.
* NOISE: It is not bad in our apartment. We occasionally hear our neighbors upstairs, but it is muffled. The biggest problem is noise from the hallway -- other doors slamming, people talking as they walk by. Ideally, the door to the hallway would be better insulated for sound.
* POOL: Gorgeous. And practically empty, most of the summer. The grills are free to use, we used them all the time when we had friends over.
* CLUBHOUSE: To be honest, I don't go there often except for the gym, which is great. There used to be a lot of kids hanging around (which doesn't bother me) but they have rules that kids under 18 need a parent/guardian.
* PARKING: The parking garage has plenty of space; however, you only get one free pass per apartment, and additional passes cost $50/month. There is first-come-first-served parking on the outside that you can park in if you don't want to pay extra
* PETS: it seems kind of costly if you want a pet, but they are upfront about it.
* LOCATION: The Laurel Mall is not worth going to, but Laurel Lakes is right across the street and there are several good restaurants nearby (including Pasta Plus which you should check out for fine Italian food).
