This complex is very very good for the area and price. I am not one to complain about frivolous things, such as why did they use a cheap countertop' , or that there is only one towel rack. Some folks need to get a life. My apartment is great. Maintenance always comes within a day of calling. Even though I have only had to call them twice. I have a beautiful view, and the area is great. Everything I need is no more than 10 minutes away. Every eating place is around here, target, Wal-Mart, you name it! I pay for a personal space, so parking is not an issue for me. The gym is never crowded when I go to it. I never see anyone lurking around the hallways, and I have only seen about 4 kids in the entire building. Since the apartments are a block away from the high school, I thought the building would be flooded with loud, rude teenagers, but I haven t seen any! The only thing is that the floors and walls seem to be thin. I don t hear too much noise, but my neighbors downstairs complain that I walk too hard . I think they are just moody people that expect to live in a padded cell and not hear anything! Other than that I love it hear and I plan to be here for a while. The only thing that would make me move at this point would be a rent increase, but I love my apartment and the staff and everything else.
One last thing. The buildings are very secure. You have to have a keycard to access any of the doors to any building. The only way a stranger could get in, is if they wait for you to walk in and run in after you. The garage gates are always down, except in the morning, when maintenance is working, or they are landscaping. They will leave one up so they can come in and out easy. The one time a gate was broken, it was boarded up, so it couldn t be accessed. It was not just left open so anyone could come in.
