I don't know who wrote the last review. It seems as though it could be someone in the office because we sure have different opinions. If you want to rent here take a ride in the evenings through the property. I understand the manager does live on site but even she doesn't come out after dark. I don't blame her because neither do I! My lease was for a year and I will not be renewing. The office staff can be very unpleasant! Whatever the marketing person is drinking I want to stay away from. The other review nailed her by a mile. I remember her from another complex @ Hickory Hills and she didn't last there either. I think it is only a matter of time before the manager kicks her to the street. Even though this is based on your income I would rather live in a pine box with my children. The place is built cheap and you can hear your neighbors flush their commode. I would not recommend this to anyone. So look around and if possible speak to several neighbors before signing because you will change your mind quickly.

I just love when hard heads like you make an uneducated opinion about people and the community. As for your knowledge about your community, it isn't "INCOME BASED" It a Tax Credit Community. Do some more research, you MIGHT learn something. I'm sure that the manager also has her own live where she wants to spend time with her family and not be "hangin' out" on the street corner at night. As for the marketing person I used to work with her indirectly at Hickory Hills and I know for a fact that they didn't "kick her to the street" and I'm sure neither will this manager. She CHOSE to leave Hickory Hills after almost 4 years of working with them. Oh, if you're interested in your future home, my husband is constructing your pine box now.
