One of the reasons I chose St. Mary's Landing was because it was pet friendly. While I wasn't thrilled with the $250 pet fee (not deposit), they allow larger dogs. The complex also has a small dog park complete with an obstacle course and toys. Throughout the grounds you can find pet waste pickup stations.
I haven't had any problems with my 2 level, 1 bedroom loft (Bay Breeze' model). When I moved in, the apartment was spotless and freshly painted. I pay about $800/month (including my pet rent) plus utilities. This is a pretty good deal. There's a business center with computers and a fax machine, a nice pool, a rec room, a laundry facility and a decent sized gym. Is Lexington Park the best area' No, but if you exercise common sense you wont have any problems. I've never had problems with parking and when I walk my dog I always see many open spaces. Sorry if walking more than 2 feet is unacceptable to you.
My only complaints are that the windows could be upgraded as you can feel some cold air coming in during the winter and maybe a few more lamp posts.
