The 8 reasons not to rent here

(1) Maintenace takes over 2 weeks to fix a simiple water leak, and than they have to come back 3 times to get it right! All the while your water bill is going up as each day passes. Maybe that is why they cannot get anyone to work for them. The last newsletter showed only 2 people in the entire maintenance and it used to be alot more.
(2) Gas bills are out of control. Mine ran over $200.00 each month and when you complain to the office staff it does no good because they won't deduct anything. When you contact the gas company they say you have to call the office staff. They had to have a contractor come out and look @ my furnance and I was informed that it needed to be replaced and that I was lucky that it didn't catch on fire. Needless to say they never replaced it and thankfully I'll be moving out before it gets to cold.
(3) Weeds grow over what a flower bed is suppose to be and when you call the office several times a week nothing is ever done about it and you find out from a neighbor that the landscaper is the manager's husband. What a soap opera this place has turned out to be!
(4) Attitude with the office staff is out of control when you try to find out why in the world your work order has never been completed. Also wear your sunglasses in there so the low neck lines on the shirts don't blind you or your young son.
(5) Bugs, Bugs, and more Bugs! I'd had the potato bugs in my apartment and the office staff has the nerve to tell me just to vacumn them up once the pest control guy came. Excuse me that is not what my vacumn cleaner is used for. They swear that the other bugs I keep complaining about are water bugs but they sure look like a roach to me and I'm a very clean person and don't leave any food out.
(6) The prices are so high and not worth your money. You can hear your neighbors upstairs walking. I complained last month about night time activity and the cops being called to my neighbors and I was told they would take care of it. It is a month later and the same thing is happening and still nothing is being done. I'm fed up with being awaken at night by the fights and screaming. We use to have a police officer that would walk the grounds at night but I've been told that the new manager no longer needed his services and that he has since moved off the property. Maybe she needs to come out of her apartment at night and shop hiding from the tenants and stand up and start taking the blame for everything that is happening around here! I'm a believer that sometimes change is good but in this case she has no clue on how to treat a tenant or to take care of our needs. I've had more headaches in the last 3 months than what I have experienced in 4 years.
(7) New roofs and paving. What a joke! I now have nail holes in my ceiling. We were told to let them know and it has been a month and still nothing has been done about it! They should of used this money to hire better qualified staff and to replace the old out dated furnances.
(8) I've saved the best for last. Take the advise of all of the honest reviews on this web site and there must be at least 95 of them and don't waste your hard earned money. The only good reviews have got to be from the office staff. Like one reviewer said stop someone that is moving out and ask why. That is the only honest answer you will get. The office staff needs to stand up and take the blame for the hell hole that we have to live in and stop trying to past the buck to other people. I cannot wait to move. I'm already looking and my lease isn't up until December. I'm so thankful that I didn't sign that renewal letter back in April! That was a BIG CATCH to make sure that the new complex across the street didn't slam them. Well, between that complex and Wildewood the Greens don't have a fighting prayer. I'll revisit this site again in a few months and see how many other people have also moved out.

Here's a suggestion for any tenants suffering through bugs in their apartments at The Greens: catch as many bugs that you find in your apartment and place them in a container. Next time you head to the office to pay your rent (they're always glad to see that monthly check), bring the container along and show them your collection. Leave the container filled with bugs on the girl's desk and wish her luck--LOL!

I actually thought about doing that whole bug thing, but within the few weeks after the supposed "extermination" I caught so many bugs that I didn't want to see that many. But stuffing them inside a box of doughnuts for the girls as a mean surprise would be funny (they LOVE doughnuts).
