I have to agree with alot of the bad reviews, I wish I had found this site before I moved to the Green's. I don't have bugs, luckily, but I do agree you can't get anything fixed, or it takes forever. I only wished I had taken a closer look at the property before I moved in. It's a lot trashier at the back, and they only let you see the model apartment, which is ALOT nicer than the one you move into. What are you going to do on moving day, when they give you your key and the truck is outside waiting with all your furniture I will NEVER EVER move into a place without seeing the actual apartment first. The outside seems to get trashier as the days go by, trash thrown on the ground, dumpsters overflowing, people not picking up their dog waste, dogs running loose, apartments with junk on their deck, and in the stairwell. 10 to 15 people in one apartment. The people working on the buildings across the road are renting here at the corporate rate and there are several apartments with waaaaay too many people living in them. There is mold/ moss all over the siding, it looks dirty and the painted parts are peeling. There are new tenants and they just throw their emptied boxes and trash over the deck, into the grass and leave it for days. I have to admit there are parts of the complex that are a lot neater than the rest, especially the main road from the entrance to the office. The management seems to be attempting to get things done, however I think things have been let go for too long to make it a nice place again. I would love to be let out of my lease and move across the street. I know that will never happen. The rates are only slightly higher at abberly crest and at least everything would be new. There has to be something that can be done here to get this complex back on track, but it is going to take a lot more than the team they have working here now. UPDATE- The past few times I've been to the dumpster, it has been clean and no overflowing garbage. I've also noticed employees picking up trash. The mgmt obviously moniters this website and seems to be making an effort. Maybe we could start a neighborhood association and give input to the management and they can also give us feedback. Maybe if we change our attitude, they will change theirs. At least not be so defensive. I am sure there are some limitations as far as their spending is concerned and also time limitations. I hope that if the management and tenants work together, maybe we can have a nice place. I, for one, pick up trash if I see it, as I'm sure others here do. Maybe the people dropping it, will feel guilty and stop. It does seem to be a small staff for such a large complex. In my old neighborhood, I did notice if you started fixing up things, other people followed the lead. I know it's hard to look at such a nice place across the street, I know it is for me. The fact is, I'm locked into a lease and I have to make the best of it. Perhaps other contributors have some good ideas about how we can work together and do our part also. I've also heard rumors that apartments are being re-done, with new appliances, and there are some other new changes coming.

The best thing to happen to this place would be to renovate everything. Starting with the staff, "Let me call you back after I'm done eating." You think that someone may take 5 minutes away from stuffing their face so they can address some of the issues around this landfill/apartment complex? It's just very irritating to see my friends and neighbors have to suffer through this like the rest of us on here. Nothing has changed for the better. As mentioned above there are apartments JAM-PACKED full of "help" for the job being done across the street. So many of them they roam the street at night. I thought I ran over one the other night but realized it was that pothole that was filled in with rocks, not paved over like anyone with common sense would do. Keep the faith and hope we all catch a break... cut off their doughnut supply and we may stand a chance.
