Consider other places

The Green's has some newly renovated apartments that are actually nice. While the turnover in office staff leads to unsatifactory communication problems between incoming and outgoing, it also lead to disappearing vehicles. Two boats and a small pick up truck, all registered legally, parked legally according to the lease and towed anyway. The tow company didn't keep them as long as they should have, and when the owners finally realized the vehicles were gone, they had been chopped for parts and sold.
The noise level is outragious. People come around the corners with booming car radio's that are heard above the normal television volume. Insulation is poor, I can hear my neighbors under me talk on the phone and I can tell what they have on T.V..
The maintenance staff is quick and courteous as far as I'm concerned, but I have lost trust as a result of the disappearing vehicles.
Parking is adequate. The grounds are kept nice and there are a couple of nice playgrounds for the kids.
I did have a small battle over rent beyond a lease. I won, but am very leary about watching every move. I feel that anything over and beyond that they try to charge doesn't go where it is supposed to go. I also feel it is a big nameless corporation that holds people to their leases, but will not give an inch to the honest person who hasn't violated any terms but needs assistance with breaking the lease early because of a job move. No wiggle room allowed from the point of the tenant, but management tries to get away with bending the rules in their own favor. It takes a savvy person to read between the lines of the lease to make it work in their own favor.
