Living in Padonia Village is perfect for people just starting out...at least it has been for me. The rent is a little steep for the area, but it is worth it--you really get what you pay for here. The apartments are beautiful and very well maintained. Although we rarely call for repairs (twice in 9 months) and it took only one day to be completed. The location is very close to the light rail, as well as 83. There are parks within easy walking distance. The people in the front office are very helpful and courteous.
My experience in this building is that it is pretty quiet--which might be due to the slightly higher rent. It pays to live with someone else and split the rent (if you are just starting out, like me). The cost of an extra bedroom is nothing compared how much money you?ll save.
Storage space: extremely generous! Two HUGE closets--one in the master bedroom, one in the hallway--make it easy to keep all the junk you can?t throw away. There is also a fairly large storage closet located on the second floor--for extra things you don?t use often--like coolers, Xmas decorations, etc.
