The apartments and closets here are huge compared to other places in the area. This is the only apartment complex I have lived in where I have no complaints about my neighbors..which is amazing. There are no shady people or suspected drug dealers and I never hear anyone talking or music playing. The people above us used to be heavy walkers (or maybe they weren't and the floors are just really thin')...it always sounded like they were stomping. The only complaint I have is the recent pretty large rent increase and that they took away our free heat (booo!). Its great that they are renovating some things...but I have yet to see the benefits...a new bathroom would be wonderful (mold keeps re-appearing and the grout is nasty). Having to carpet the apartment yourself could be seen as a downside, but atleast you wont be scammed into re-carpeting the apt like other complexes (ahem...deertree).
