I would certainly agree with the majority view about Seneca Bay. I have lived in several area apartments and Seneca Bay is among the very worst. There is absolutely nothing notable about Seneca Bay other than the seriously overpriced rate, and miserable management staff. The "upgraded" 2 bedroom will cost you about $800 monthly, and the so-called upgrades do not really exist. Why should I pay $100 more per month for a nicer looking kitchen cabinet' It looks like crap anyway. Also, when problems happen don't count on any support or response from management. For example, if you don't have hot water for several days at a time - that's o.k. You still get to pay for all the days of your monthly rent anyway. This went on for several months (probably 12 days without hot water in the dead of winter). No discount on my rent was ever offered for the problems this caused me. They charge excessive late fees if you are a few days late too, and will threaten you with court if you owe as little as $50.00! Another problem is that when you move in they have you sign legal documents that state if you ever have any legal issues with them that you will pay their legal fees. Beware of this place. Its all one sided here, and they treat tenants very poorly. I found some great apartments downtown Baltimore for only $550 - $650 in Fed Hill, or Charles Village. No gas cost going to work, and I save another $250 on Seneca Bay rent! Bye, Bye Seneca Bay.
