I just moved in on 11/1, about two months ago. There were several things that were supposed to fixed before I even moved in. Ex's are broken kitchen door, busted screen door, unreadable thermometer... Well, it was never fixed, and after moving in and requesting to have it done through the
'management' or leasing office, I was repeatedley brushed off and was told that these are petty things that can wait and NOT important. The maintenance requests have been terrible, I still have had nothing done and have also found lots of other minor things to be fixed. Rent may not be the highest, but for around $900.00 a month, I expect to have a place looking presentable, and livable. Besides that the reason I moved in was for a rent- to- own program. After I signed the lease for a year, the very next month, I recieved a letter telling me "the complex switched management" and that program was now no longer valid. This as far as I'm concerned is "misrepresantation and fraud", now I can no longer afford to move again, and am stuck in a place where I am not getting what I signed and agreed to. The people just don't care!!

You, too are speaking of Yorktowne Townhomes,( which has gone to the dogs since being sold) not Mill Pond Apartments. When issuing a complaint make sure you have the right name of the complex at wghich you live. It gives Mill Pond a bad name which it does not deserve.

Millpond does deserve a bad name. How much did they pay you to defend them?
