From day one this place made me uneasy. They wouldn't give us the key until after we signed the lease (and they wouldn't let us do that until after 2pm). Of course we walk in and there's stains all over the carpet in every room, the cabinets have paint on them and huge chunks out of the doors. Both towel racks in the bathroom fell off after a week of hanging two towels on them. Closet doors constantly fall off the hinges. Light switch didn't work in the 2nd bedroom. I could go on forever. The staff would say anything thought you wanted to hear to get you out of their faces fast. Had no air conditioning for the entire month of July. Went in the office three times a week and every time I got, "someone will be there in the morning." Had a leak in the bathroom that took three weeks for someone to fix. The wood is still to this day rotten and moldy and smells terrible. We had maggots growing in the toilet paper we kept there. Never sent an exterminator, a guy just came in and wiped them out with a towel. I went to complain, but it was a waste of time. Had another leak (same pipe in the bathroom only two weeks later) and it was so severe the water dripped through the floor into the appartment below. That took 6 days! Some of the other tenants are terrible. No noise issues, but people throw garbage out their windows, let their dogs defecate all over the place and don't clean it. People smoking in the halls, spit on the stairs. Marijuana smoke coming from under the doors. No assigned parking so sometimes you have to park far away from your door and walk in the pitch dark. Other tenants are inconsiderate and slam their doors into your car. One person actually HIT my car and dented my bumper and drove away. I had to call out of work one day because the police blocked off the road and wouldn't let anyone in or out of the parking lot. This is a horrible place to live! If you dont mind living like this, at least find a place that won't charge you over a grand a month!
