What a dump!

From day one this place made me uneasy. They wouldn't give us the key until after we signed the lease (and they wouldn't let us do that until after 2pm). Of course we walk in and there's stains all over the carpet in every room, the cabinets have paint on them and huge chunks out of the doors. Both towel racks in the bathroom fell off after a week of hanging two towels on them. Closet doors constantly fall off the hinges. Light switch doesn't work in 2nd bedroom. I could go on forever. The staff will say anything that they think you want to hear to get you out of their faces fast. Had no air conditioning for the entire month of July. Went in the office three times a week and every time I got, "someone will be there in the morning." Had a leak in the bathroom that took three weeks for someone to fix. The wood is still to this day moldy and smells terrible. We had maggots growing in the toilet paper we kept there. Never sent an exterminator, a guy just came in and wiped them out with a towel. I went to complain, but it was a waste of time. Had another leak (same pipe in the bathroom only two weeks later) and it was so severe the water dripped through the floor into the appartment below. That took 6 days! Some of the other tenants are terrible. No noise issues, but people throw garbage out their windows, let their dogs defecate all over the place and don't clean it. People smoking in the halls, spitting on the stairs. Marajuana smoke coming from under the doors. I had to call out of work one day because the police blocked off the road and wouldn't let anyone in our out. This is a horrible place to live! If you dont mind living like this, at least find a place that won't charge you over a grand a month!
