OK, but construction not the best.

I moved in August 2006 and I can say it was a pretty good experience. Our townhome was spotless and all of our appliances were brand new. But in weeks of living here we noticed that the walls a paper thin. We can hear everthing going on in the homes next to us. We first noticed in when a alarm clock went off at 4:30 AM and come to find out, it was the people next door's alarm clock! Every morning we are awakened by this alarm clock in the wee hours of the morning and them pressing the snooze button five or six times before the alarm actualy stops. One day I was in the kitchen and I thought I heard my husband coming down the steps, but it was the neighbors. You hear every creak and movement in the homes besides you which is very annoying..
Also the floors under the carpet are cheaply reinforced. Every time you walk in certain areas of the house it just creeks and in some intances you feel you are going to fall through the floor! Our tub is not contructed the best as well. Everyime you shower, there is a puddle that builds up in the center of the floor meaning it not reinfored well. You can actually feel the indintation in the tub as you move around.
What I suggest before you move in is to do a 360 degree inspection of your house. We were blind sided because of how spotless and new everthing was, but never really asked about the nature of construction of the home.
