I have lived here for almost 5 years and the apartments are over priced, and the staff and corporate office are rude and crude. Maintenance is almost never done and when you complain they say oh we will get to it. They are always painting the lobby and polishing the front doors but they have yet to update the inside of each apartment. There have been robberies,vandalized cars in the parking lot, gates that half work and entrance codes on the gate that the whole community knows. It took a women held at gun point before they improved the parking lot lighting. The office staff constantly changes and people steal your mail. Don't have packages sent to your home the office will only hold it 24 hours before sending back to sender. And don't have someone visiting expecting a package because if there name is not on the lease they won't receive it. We have constant false fire alarms, elevators that sometime don't work. When they is a power failure half of the buiding has power and the other have doesn't. The surrounding area looks nice but there are a lot of problems with car thefts, carjacking, and being held at gun point think twice before moving into the high price Ghetto. I'm looking to get out soon enough is a enough.

I am glad that I read this comment from a current resident. I don't live at Lake Arbor right now but this was one of my choices for my upcoming move this summer. For the money that they charge people, it should be much better than a "Hood" environment. One of the managers that I spoke with made a comment with a very 'stuck-up' attitude as if they are doing people a favor by letting them live here. They need to remember that if it weren't for the residents, they wouldn't have a job there. As for the matter of the constant staff changes, that seems to be the truth because over the past few months, I have been looking into this complex & it seems that they had different residential managers on multiple occasions and this is not a good sign. After reading this comment and the others as well, I'm starting to have doubts about Lake Arbor.

I also am very glad to read this comment. I am a single woman with very irregular and sometimes very late working hours. I was almost fooled by the tranquility of being there at 1:00 in the afternoon!! Thanks future Move

i am police officer who patrols the area. i have been patrolling the area for a year and a half. since i been parolling i have taken 1 stolen vehicle report and 1 vandalism report. not aying other officers havent done the same. there is crime against people but i never seen it inside the gates. there are car thefts in the area but like i said i only took 1 in the parking lot since i been working. thats a lot better compared to up the street.
