When I left my parent's house and was looking for my first apartment, I was looking for a place that was affordable and in a decent to good neighborhood. I read many reviews on this site and when I submitted my application ot Lake Arbor Towers, the words of many of the past reviewers made me highly hesitant. I hoped that I wouldn't regret my decision and I'm happy to report that after six months, nothing, and I repeat, nothing that they complained about has manifested. I haven't had plumbing problems, gate problems, crime problems or lighting problems. Now the leasing office staff could have been ALOT better in how they behaved when I submitted my application (it took alot of badgering and phone calls on my part to make sure all our paperwork was done and reviewed in a timely fashion) but once we got in, I haven't experienced any real problems. The building consists mostly of families, retirees and upwardly mobile singles. I'm not quite sure what the other reviewers were looking for in an apartment building or a neighborhood, but considering the price and the region, this is one the best I've seen so far.
