Here is what I wrote to the Gables Corporate offices, but have not received a response yet, maybe it's how Gables run things, it seems like they just dont care about tenants after they have already moved in. Well, in the long run, they will be losing money since no one will want to stay here after the lease is up. In the future I will look for a Bozzuto managed home. The office staff here is no good, especially -------- who is a complete fake -----, who dared to roll her eyes at me like I am lower than her, does she not realize that us, the tenants, ultimately pay for her measely salary' Anyhow, below is what I wrote to the corporate offices:

I actually have a complaint about the leasing office personnel here at Gables Rothbury. Her name is --------, I dont know her last name. Today, 06/24/08, at around 4pm she came and knocked on my door. When I opened the door, she had a dog in her hand and asked me to turn my music down a little bit (yes I was a little loud watching a movie). At first I didn't recognize her, so I asked if she lives downstairs beneath me (I live on the top floor), she said yes. The problem was that when she walked away, she gave me a completely bitchy attitude, evil smirk and rolled her eyes away in a disgusted look. I knew she looked familiar so I walked down to the leasing office in about 10 minutes, I saw her there and I remember her face and first name, --------. Now, I pay almost $2000 a month to live here, I used to an apartment in McLean, VA, I can afford to live anywhere I want to, but I chose here. Now the problem is this, if I am paying so much money for a top floor apt with a loft, why should I have to suffer the attitude of the office staff' Shayla who also works here, has been nothing but nice to me everytime I see her, in the office or not. In the end, the renters pay for everyone's salary, so everyone that lives here should be treated with respect. The next time someone has a problem with noise, they can call the police or ask me nicely. -------- was completely rude to me as she was walking away from my door. If it was legitimate neighbor, then I can't say anything, but since she works here, she should be professional at all times, regardless if she lives here or not. I am not in a good mood because of her. You guys as a corporation should at least let her know that something like this is not tolerable, this can sway my decision when the time comes to renewing my lease for another year or two. Please let me know how you plan to handle this. I am not looking for a credit or any money at all, just something to be done to -------- in terms of a punishment.
