I lived in the community for 1 year and went to UMD. The neighborhood was a little rough, but I met mostly friendly religious people. I am a female and walked in alone many nights between midnight to 5 in the morning and was never robbed. There were always posted warnings of area crimes. But they do tow alot. I never got towed but be careful follow the rules!!! We had some roaches as the weather got warmer. Its not fabulous but a good choice for the area.
