This is by far the WORST management company I have ever had to deal with. They claim that they will fix things, but the window in the laundry room where I live has been broken since the day I moved in. When it rains the laundry room floods. It is dangerous and disgusting. Oh, SMC really cares about its tenants.

Another thing, no locks on the main door to the buildings. ANYONE can walk into these buildings, ANYONE. This is dangerous.

If you can avoid an SMC apartment complex, DO IT!!!

Southern Management is terrible! I definitely agree! But, fortunately, Fountain Club is not on of those places.

Then you must not have lived @ the Fountain Club apts. I lived there for a year and although i didn't have many problems with the unit itself I had nothing but problems from the office staff. For every maintaince request i submitted i had to make atleast 5 phone calls and wait up to two weeks for repairs because the office staff didn't relay messages or check voice mail or even respond to verbal requests. I had nothing but problems with Tina, Juanita and Kia. I find all three of them to be very disrespectful, discourtious, and extremly unprofessional, especially because I paid my hard earned $900 a month on time every month. When i filed a complaint with Carrie Butler in the Corporate office (the young lady responsible for handling theses calls)she has yet to call me back with a resolution and i filed my complaint in November 2005.
