I write this review trying to be as unbiased as I possibly can be. This used to be THE place to live in New Carrollton. It was clean, the people were friendly, the office staff was great....well, you know what they say about living in the past right'
I, myself, am preparing to move as I type this' Why' There is no customer service or any care for the residents by the staff of any kind. If the staff is "cool" with you, you will get a response. If they are not, they can have you waiting for an unspecified amount of time.
Since the new property manager has taken over, so many tenants have decided to move out or either want to move. They are so concerned with just collecting the rent, that they don't truly care what happens to you. Yeah, they try to do little things like put your name in a drawing for a toaster if you pay your rent on the first. However, they need to know that some circumstances have people paying between the 1st and the 5th. (Oh and by the way, if you are late with your payment JUST ONCE...ha...there goes your grace period and your rent is now due on the 1st EVERY month or else you are getting hit with numerous fees from Southern Management suing you)
The buildings are going down...the people are going down...and the staff...I must say, are just collecting a paycheck.
I will stick up for maintenence however. They are really good (Most of them anyway). However, most people don't understand that the staff sends them out on calls. So they can't come fix, what they don't know about.
I can no longer in good concious recommend this complex for anyone to live in. If you are doing it for a year or less..maybe. The location is still a prime one. However, if you feel you are going to be here for a little while, I say, if you can afford it...just pay the extra money and stay somewhere nicer. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
