I moved into Fountian Club around January and for the past 4 months I have enjoyed my stay. The complex itslef is relatively quiet. I live down Karen Elaine Dr. If your neighbors above have the wooden floors, however, you will hear them walking. The walls are, on the other hand, rather thick so you never hear anyones tv or intimate moments. People for the most part speak as you pass them but everyone just seems to be about their own business. Maintenance has been nothing but a pleasure. I have even had a worker come back to fix something that I had never reported needed to be fixed. He saw it when he was checking something else and simply took it upon himself to fix it. I generally only bump into the same two agents each time I go into the office and they are both always friendly. This is the young gentleman who works there and the youngest of the ladies who works there. Haven't seen the "manager" since we signed the lease. But to her credit it may be because I only go over to pay my rent once a month. The apartment itself is very spacious. The living/dining area is huge with a ceiling fan above the dining area. Kitchen has massive cabinet space and the bedroom is very big. Only complaint with the bedroom is that if you live on the bottom floor the sump pump is in one of your bedroom closets. So you can imagine what will happen if it backs up. However, the complex comes out at least monthly to check it to deter that from happening. Also the housekeeping staff is very thorough. The building is cleaned every day and you will not find a bit of trash in the building. the complex is convenient to food, groceries, drugstore, shopping stores and New Carrollton Metro. As a matter of fact you can walk to the metro or take the F4 which stops at two bus stops in front of the complex. So for those who don't have a car it is still feasible. So as I said all and all right now I am enjoying my stay at Fountain Club. It seems to be to be worth the money you pay. I hope this review helps someone make their decision on whether or not to call fountain club home. Also as far as safty goes I do know that at least one cop lives in the complex. By the way, this review pertains to the garden style apartments not the midrise.

Thank you so much for posting this review of the Foutain Club. I have visited other aparmtment complexes and most of them were great except for one thing. For example, the price may be right but in a bad neighborhood, or the rooms were spacious but thin walls. You have answered just about every question I had about Fountain Club's complex. Thank you again

Drea21 Utilities aren't bad. highest we had was about 2-300 once. That was our fault though turning the AC on and off constantly. Electricity is definitely not included in your rent though you do get gas and water. by the way I am the original poster
