We moved into Heritage Square in May of 2003 and from the beginning it has been a hassle. I could never get a straight answer from the rental office staff. One person tells you one thing and then someone else tells you something totally different. I have encountered rude office staff as well. I have had terrible bouts of roaches in my apartment and was told that the exterminator was coming and never showed up. They have rental payment rules that only they know about. You are still penalized for them not telling you their rental policy. The window in one of my bedrooms is so poorly insulated and constructed that we had to put up thick plastic this winter. Parking is terrible, if you are not home by 6:30 you can forget getting a space in front of your building. The noise level is awful as well. I would NEVER recommend Heritage Square to anyone looking for an apartment. I have lived in another Kay community and it was run totally different from Heritage Square, they seem to make up things as they go along.
