I came down to Maryland, from New York, for grad school. I needed a place close to everything and this was it. Staff were decent: not the best, but not the worst either. It's been a year and I have had little complaints. The stairways can get kind of filthy and at times there is a strange smell coming from the AC. My neighbors were all great- never seen or heard much of them. There were some kids hanging out in front of other buildings, however mine was extremely quiet. For the money, the size is excellent and one of the biggest in the area. As most older apartments, Heritage Square can use a face-lift, but it has served its purpose. Roaches were annoying but they have been kept under control through pest control and personal anti-roach ware. All places have their ups and downs... If you want to mvoe here, just remember that and you will be OK!!!
